Burton's 4!!

Our little boy turned four last week. There is definitely a difference between three and four. I feel like he's just growing up so fast. It makes me feel old too. He got to take cupcakes into preschool for snack time and he got to wear a birthday boy crown. Orange, of course. It's been his favorite color for months. Last Thursday Chris took the day off of work so we could have a whole day of celebrating. What a great daddy!! We went to the new aquatic center in town. It was fun, we actually went first thing in the morning and then went back in the afternoon after the water slide opened. Brookie was so good. She loved the water. I should have gotten a picture of her in her swim suit. She's a little chubby.
Once again Burton was spoiled by everyone and got lots of presents. He opened Toy Story 3 after we went swimming and we watched it before we went back to the pool. This is the first movie he's ever really been "into". He'll say stuff like, "You be Woody, I'll be Buzz." It's pretty cute. That night we went out for dinner and ice cream. I think he had a fun birthday.

None of the pictures I took inside really turned out, but Burton went down this water slide five times!!. Seriously, it's a little scary. It's completely dark inside and it shoots you out pretty fast at the end. Chris would go down and then wait at the bottom of the slide to scoop Burton out of the water. He is a daredevil.

Here's a recent pic of our baby girl. She's getting bigger everyday. She has her two bottom teeth now. The second one just cut through the other day. I'm pretending that's the reason she's been so cranky and doesn't like to sleep anymore. I'm mostly hoping it's just a phase. Oh well, at least she's cute.

I seriously can not take a picture of Brooke with out Burton trying to jump in. It's cute because you really can tell that they like each other. If you look close you can see Brooke's tooth.
